Liz Kendall - Senior Economist at ANZ Bank will take us through a light economic overview followed by a more in depth property discussion for the Wellington Region.
Liz joined the ANZ economics team in 2018, after spending the early part of her career in central banking. Liz started at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand in 2010, where she worked in the areas of financial stability, forecasting and monetary policy analysis, with a particular research interest in the residential property market. In 2016 Liz seconded to the Reserve Bank of Australia for two years, where she contributed to the development and implementation of a full-system macroeconomic model for Australia.
Liz’s day-to-day activities include monitoring economic developments, maintaining and producing economic forecasts, and assisting in the publication of key outputs, including: Morning Focus; Market Focus; Property Focus; and Quarterly Economic Forecasts. Liz holds degrees in economics and mathematics. In her spare time, she likes to get active, read a novel, or cook something delicious, with a glass of pinot noir on the side.
